ASSA resumes deliveries

In light of the reports that ASSA has received from locksmiths that hook bolts to lock cases 410/411 and 2002 at different times have been broken, we decided October 20 to suspend delivery of the mentioned lock cases, and as a precaution until investigations into the incident had been carried out.

In light of the reports that ASSA has received from locksmiths that hook bolts to lock cases 410/411 and 2002 at different times have been broken, we decided October 20 to suspend delivery of the mentioned lock cases, and as a precaution until investigations into the incident had been carried out.

We at ASSA have done extensive testing of the above lock cases. Tests show that the lock cases live up to the current standards.

SBSC (Swedish Fire and Safety Certification), have also performed tests on the lock cases in question. Also these tests show that the lock cases live up to the requirements and standards that exist.

We have also over the last week reviewed the processes and quality procedures to ensure that the continued deliveries maintain a consistently high quality.

We therefore resume deliveries from tomorrow, Tuesday 27 October. We regret any inconvenience the earlier delivery stoppage may have brought.
