Several municipalities and county councils throughout Sweden have already discovered the advantages of the Aperio. ASSA’s new family of readers is perfect for facilities with a large number of employees and many internal doors. The ASSA Aperio is a new technology that allows a simple, secure link between mechanical locks and access control systems – online and wireless.

Greater security

The wireless readers make it easy and cost-effective to connect multiple doors to the access control system, ensuring greater security and ease of access. All events are logged for added security, and any changes that need to be made can be done online.

No new software

The readers are easy to administrate in the same way as wired readers in an existing or new ARX or RX access control system. The Aperio lets you keep working in the system you’re accustomed to. No new software is required. If you want, you can keep the cylinder and key in selected doors where you want the option of the additional hook bolt at night for extra security.

No new holes

No interventions are required on the door, because the connection is wireless and uses the existing lock case. There is also no new administration of cards or tags, because the wireless readers use the same administrative tools as your existing system.

International venture

The door units are easy to install on selected doors. The reader technology in both readers is Mifare, and built-in batteries are the only power source.
The Aperio is the result of a joint international venture in the ASSA ABLOY Group.
