Requirements for sustainable transports

Transports are an unavoidable part of our operations. Large numbers of trucks enter and leave our goods receiving area in Eskilstuna every day.

To contribute to sustainable development, we place certain requirements on those who provide transport services for us. By influencing the way our suppliers manage their vehicles and drivers, we hope to achieve lasting effects.

We require that they always make sure their trucks are fully loaded for each run, that the vehicles have the latest technology, and if possible, that they run on environment-friendly fuel. The haulers should also be able to demonstrate how their drivers are trained and how they meet requirements from authorities.
