New access products in the Smartair family
Several new additions have been made to the Smartair access control system.
Smartair is an off-line access control system that does not require cable runs or external power. The readers are battery powered and installed directly in the door, and they are also available as wall readers. Because the system uses touch-free Mifare technology with sector coding, it can easily be combined with other Mifare applications.
The following products have been added to the line:
• Smartair System wall reader Design (illustrated)
On some doors it’s appropriate to install a battery-powered door reader while retaining an attractive form, in which case the new Smartair wall reader Design is a suitable alternative. It has the same design as the door reader and is connected to an electronic lock in the door. Otherwise it has the same functions as the rest of the readers in the Smartair System product line.
• Smartair Update module Mini
The Smartair Update module is connected via the network and allows individuals to update their access authority remotely with the aid of their Mifare card. When a card is updated, logs and information such as access data and low battery level are directly transmitted from the card to the Smartair software.
• Smartair Solo wall reader UI
Smartair's Solo stand-alone line has been complemented with a wall reader that is easy to program using a card. No PC or software is necessary. An existing Mifare card can be used without the need for software. The reader has a relay outlet and is suitable for internal doors or doors without a high security requirement. Smartair Solo wall readers can be combined with Solo battery-powered door readers.
