Solutions for all needs
Whether you're a security manager for a company with industrial activity spread over different plants, a modern office, engaged in a sports club, a housing cooperative or operating an store. ASSA has access solution for every business and budget.
Solutions regardless of need
Johan Lokind is responsible for business development and Karl Holm, product manager within access control. Both emphasizes the breadth of the ASSA offers in terms of modern access control solution.
- We want to show our customers that ASSA has a solution regardless of need, security requirements or investment opportunities, they say.
The ARX ladder
The flagship within access solution is called ASSA ARX, with advanced features that can be expanded and integrated with other systems burglar alarms and registration of visitors.
- We can offer many different solutions with one single system. Customer demand for functionality and level of security controls and the system provides customized security for each doorsays Johan Lokind. We have of course the solution for the main entrance, but also cost-effective options for the server room, the kitchen and the individual office. At interior doors offer ASSA several door leaf readers an improved security.
One solution is working off line, where the user's card is validated via an updater in the ARX system. Another works completely on-line via wireless Aperio technology. Both door leaf readers are battery operated and easily installed in ten minutes, completely silent, without interference with the door or the doorframe.
- Access control on interior doors gives us extra protection in the living environment, says Johnan Lokind. Today, our workplaces are filled with cell phones, e-readers, computers and other valuables. The staff uses the same card for all doors and all administration is carried out within ARX.
Little Sister - RX WEB
All customers does not need all features found in an advanced access control system. Market surveys show that many wish for an easy access control system with only the basic functions.
- Therefore we have created a fast, easy and affordable access control system, says Karl Holm.
RX WEB is ARX's little sister. It is an access control system for up to 16 doors that use the same readers. The system is quick to install, all it requires is a small central unit.
- Only when something should be changed or blocked, a computer is connected to the unit, he continues. A re-launch with an attractively priced central unit has meant that the sales goes well. Not only end users but also dealers appreciate this affordable solution, says Karl Holm:
- The software, the user interface, is very easy to work with. It is really made for "people with other main duties," like a receptionist or shop owner for example.
Program access rights at a distance
Joakim Spångberg, is product manager for CLIQ Remote.
- CLIQ Remote is an electro-mechanical cylinder with an additional level of security and flexibility, a natural choice for those looking for a modern security solution. CLIQ Remote combines a modern mechanical platform with an advanced electronic function, he says.
A major advantage with CLIQ Remote is its remote function. With this locking system access and permissions can be changed at a distance. For example, you can sit in Eskilstuna and via the program Web-manager authorize keys via the programming terminal. An entrepreneur in the North can gain access to a plant, maybe an antenna or a mast, by programming his key into the wall reader at the site.
- CLIQ Remote is for customers who want to change the permissions quite often, have a geographic spread business and need mechanical security.
The system can give the keys acces based on aschedule and for example give a user access only during business hours. Or just on weekend nights. The keys are validated according to the customer's own rules, perhaps every day or every week. If a key is not validated in the wall reader within the regulated time it becomes useless.
- It minimizes the security vulnerabilities that can occur when keys are lost, says Joakim Spångberg.
