Yale Doorman digital lock enables access for home deliveries and services

The fast-growing market for digital doorlocks in Scandinavia combined with an increased demand for home-related services open the door to new solutions ­– making life more convenient and less stressful, while also freeing up more time for things that really matter.

In our quest for developing products and solutions with high customer value, ASSA ABLOY Scandinavia represented by ASSA AB (Sweden) and  TrioVing AS (Norway) is currently partnering with Telenor, Mat.seKolonial.no and Safe4 to test a pilot program for in-home grocery delivery. ASSA ABLOY Scandinavia plays a key role in the pilot program by enabling access to the homes of pilot participants using the Yale Doorman digital door lock, which ensures secure, convenient and reliable in-home delivery of groceries.

Approximately 50 users in Sweden and Norway will participate in the pilot program, which will run from early November to late December

Pilot program to explore home grocery delivery service
The pilot program will explore how digital door locks and ID can enable delivery personnel to leave groceries inside customer homes or in their refrigerators – even when no one is home. The technical set up of the pilot program will enable service providers such as Mat.se and Kolonial.no to give their personnel a digital key that provides temporary access to deliver groceries inside the home.

ASSA ABLOY Scandinavia wants to test the service concept in the field to learn how to accomplish smarter delivery of goods and services in the future using connected technology.
